Description
The Waveshare RP2350-LCD-4 is a high-performance, highly integrated development board designed for building devices with graphical user interfaces. It is based on the RP2350B microcontroller designed by Raspberry Pi, featuring a unique dual-core design with selectable architecture: dual ARM Cortex-M33 or dual Hazard3 RISC-V cores. The MCU operates at up to 150 MHz and includes 520 kB SRAM and 16 MB Flash memory, with the option to expand memory using external PSRAM via dedicated solder pads.
The board integrates a 4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480 × 480 px, supporting 65K colors and offering wide viewing angles of up to 160°. The RP2350-LCD-4 version does not include a touch panel, making it suitable for applications that rely on physical buttons, encoders, or external input controllers.
A comprehensive set of onboard peripherals is provided, including a 6-axis IMU, RTC, TF (microSD) card slot, buzzer, and communication interfaces such as CAN, RS485, and I2C. The board supports power from a 3.7 V Li-Ion battery with charging capability as well as a wide 7–36 V DC input range. Programming is supported via USB Type-C using drag-and-drop mass storage mode, with compatibility for C/C++, MicroPython, and Arduino IDE.
Thanks to two wiring options—bottom wiring or rear wiring—the board can be easily integrated into enclosures, control cabinets, or DIN rail mounted systems.
