Description
BLE Beacon is a small wireless device that emits signals using Bluetooth Low Energy technology. Due to its nature of signal transmission, no pairing is required between the beacon and receivers. Each beacon contains a unique identifier that is detected by devices equipped with Bluetooth, such as ESP32 or smartphones that support BLE scanning. This device is equipped with a built-in 11-bit ADC converter and various input/output pins that can be multiplexed on SDA/SCL during Bluetooth signal transmission. Users can obtain data from sensors within the transmission range using Bluetooth-enabled devices like smartphones or ESP32.
The module features a built-in I2C interface and an 11-bit ADC converter, allowing real-time data collection and transmission from various sensor types: analog, digital, and I2C. This allows easy access to sensor data within transmission range on Bluetooth devices. This enhances the flexibility of data collection and transmission, making it ideal for applications requiring mobility and extended range.
BLE Beacon is characterized by low power consumption, drawing only 650nA in sleep mode, which enables long-term operation on a single battery for many months or years.
