Description
The ArduCAM 16MP Autofocus USB Camera is a compact UVC camera that combines 16 MP resolution with the convenience of a USB 2.0 “plug & play” interface. Powered by the Sony IMX298 1/2.8” sensor, it delivers exceptionally sharp images (4656 × 3496 px) and accurate color reproduction. The built-in autofocus automatically adjusts focus from 10 cm to infinity, eliminating the need for manual adjustment. The camera records smooth 4K video at 30 fps (MJPG 2320 × 1744/1080p/720p) and captures audio thanks to an integrated microphone.
The metal housing with a swivel mount enhances durability and simplifies installation in surveillance systems, 3D printers, or machine vision applications. Compatibility with native UVC drivers on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android ensures immediate operation with no additional setup. The camera supports system-level control of exposure, white balance, saturation, and contrast. Its relatively low power consumption makes it energy-efficient, and the long (1 m) USB cable allows for flexible positioning.
