Description
Waveshare 33161 is a USB camera based on the IMX577 image sensor, offering high 12 MP image resolution and a maximum still image resolution of 3840 x 3024. The device is designed for use in vision systems, image analysis, prototyping and projects based on embedded platforms.
The camera is equipped with a USB 2.0 Type-C interface, providing Plug and Play functionality without the need to install drivers. It allows direct connection to PC computers, Raspberry Pi platforms, NVIDIA Jetson kits and other devices that support USB cameras.
The applied IMX577 sensor with a size of 1/2.3 inch ensures high image quality and supports video recording at 4K resolution at 30 fps as well as 12 MP at 20 fps. The camera supports MJPG and YUY2 formats, enabling wide compatibility with image processing software.
The module is equipped with a CS-mount lens holder and includes a C-CS adapter, allowing cooperation with a wide range of C-mount and CS-mount lenses, including wide-angle and telephoto lenses. An additional SH1.0 4-pin connector enables flexible camera connection in applications with limited installation space.
