Description
Waveshare 33123 is a compact USB camera based on the OS05A10 image sensor, offering 5 MP image resolution and a maximum still image resolution of 2592 × 1944. The device is designed for vision systems, monitoring, image analysis and embedded projects that require stable image quality and low optical distortion.
The fixed-focus lens with a focal length of 2.88 mm and an aperture of F2.7 provides a wide 96° field of view while maintaining very low image distortion below −0.2%. This allows accurate scene reproduction and makes the camera suitable for applications requiring precise image geometry.
The camera is equipped with a USB 2.0 Type-C interface, providing Plug and Play functionality without the need for driver installation. It allows direct connection to PCs, Raspberry Pi platforms, NVIDIA Jetson kits and other devices supporting USB cameras.
The OS05A10 sensor with a 1/2.7-inch size supports video recording at 30 fps at resolutions up to 2592 × 1944, as well as 1920 × 1080 and 1280 × 720. The camera supports MJPG and YUY2 formats, ensuring broad compatibility with image processing software.
The module also features an additional SH1.0 4-pin connector, enabling flexible camera connection in applications with limited installation space.
