SIM7070G Arduino NB-IoT/LTE/GPRS/GPS Expansion Shield is an advanced wireless communication expansion board designed for Arduino . It is based on the SIM7070G chip from SIMCom. The module supports global multi-band CAT-M (LTE-M), NB-IoT and GPRS/EDGE communication. SIM7070G features worldwide frequency band compatibility, allowing deployment in IoT projects across different regions without concerns about local carrier frequency limitations.

NB-IoT (Narrow Band-Internet of Things) technology is a modern branch of IoT designed to provide cellular network connectivity for low-power devices operating within WAN (Wide Area Network), also referred to as LPWAN. NB-IoT works within licensed frequency spectrum. It can be directly deployed in GSM, UMTS and LTE systems without interfering with existing network infrastructure.
The expansion shield features a built-in GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) module supporting GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou navigation systems. It includes SIM card interfaces, allowing standard cellular functions such as voice calls and SMS messaging, as well as an NB-IoT card slot enabling communication within NB-IoT and CAT-M technologies. In addition, the module is equipped with a BME280 environmental sensor for monitoring temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure, for example in NB-IoT applications.
Attention!
The module requires a mini-SIM card supporting NB-IoT / CAT-M or 2G operation inserted into the onboard slot. A suitable adapter is required when using micro-SIM or nano-SIM cards.Manufacturer BTC Korporacja sp. z o. o. Lwowska 5 05-120 Legionowo Poland sprzedaz@kamami.pl 22 767 36 20
