TOF Mini-F Laser Range Sensor is a compact distance sensor using Time of Flight (TOF) technology, intended for precise, non-contact distance measurement. The module is based on a single-point D-TOF laser sensor, which determines distance by measuring the time taken for a light pulse to travel from the emitter to the target and back to the receiver.
Communication with the host controller is provided via a UART interface, allowing easy integration with microcontrollers, single-board computers, and embedded systems. The TOF measurement principle ensures stable results regardless of object color or surface texture, while the absence of mechanical components contributes to high reliability and long service life.
The sensor is suitable for use in mobile robotics, obstacle avoidance systems, distance measurement applications, automation, IoT devices, and educational projects where fast, repeatable distance measurement in a compact form factor is required.
