Description
Ultrasonic distance sensor (sonar) MB7040 I2CXL-MaxSonar-WR with a measuring range from 20 cm to 7.65 m and a resolution of 1 cm. It allows to read data with a frequency of 40 Hz via the I2C interface. The I2CXL-MaxSonar-WR is a rugged sensor resistant to harsh weather conditions, available in a compact and durable PVC housing that meets the IP67 protection standard. The housing fits standard 3/4 inch PVC pipe fittings.
The sensor is factory calibrated. It offers virtually noise-free distance readings thanks to the use of high sound power combined with stepless gain, real-time automatic background calibration, real-time waveform signature analysis and noise suppression algorithms.
