Module with integrated proximity and ambient light sensors and IR emitter in the VCNL4040 system. It allows the detection of obstacles in the range of 0 to 20 cm (no dead zone). It communicates via the I2C bus. The sensor is often found in automatic towel and soap dispensers or automatic faucets. The product page includes the user manual and the Arduino library.
