It allows you to read data with a frequency of 10 Hz through one of three interfaces: variable width pulse, analog output or RS232 interface. XL-MaxSonar-WRLA1 is a rugged sensor resistant to harsh weather conditions, available in a compact and durable PVC housing that meets the IP67 protection standard. The housing fits standard 3/4 inch PVC electrical pipe fittings.
The sensor is factory calibrated. It offers virtually noise-free distance readings thanks to the use of high sound power combined with stepless gain, real-time automatic background calibration, real-time waveform signature analysis and noise suppression algorithms.
