The CH101 is an ultrasonic ToF (time-of-flight) rangefinder with a range of 4 cm to 1.2 meters. The sensor is able to simultaneously measure the range of several objects in its field of view, which is possible thanks to the integrated system that processes the measurements and then makes them available via the I²C interface. It works in a variety of lighting conditions and can detect objects of various colors, including optically transparent surfaces. The module has four mounting holes for mounting the acoustic cover.
