ESP32-H2-DevKitM-1 is an advanced development board designed for building IoT devices communicating via Zigbee, Thread, Matter, and Bluetooth LE protocols. Thanks to its energy-efficient RISC-V microcontroller, integrated antenna, wide range of peripheral interfaces, and easy access to GPIO pins, the board is an excellent choice for smart home projects, distributed sensors, and battery-powered devices.
The ESP32-H2-DevKitM-1 evaluation board is equipped with the ESP32-H2-MINI-1 module, based on a low-power 32-bit RISC-V microcontroller running at up to 96 MHz. The chip supports wireless communication via IEEE 802.15.4 (Zigbee, Thread, Matter) and Bluetooth 5 Low Energy. The board features 4 MB of Flash memory and 320 KB of SRAM, enabling the development of advanced IoT applications. The integrated PCB antenna allows direct wireless communication without the need for an external antenna.
The board includes two USB Type-C ports—one for UART communication via a USB-to-UART bridge, and the other connected directly to the microcontroller as a USB 2.0 FS interface. It is equipped with BOOT and RESET buttons, an addressable RGB LED connected to GPIO8, and a J5 header for current consumption measurement. Most GPIO pins are broken out to side headers for convenient prototyping.
