The ESP32-S3-LCD-7 development board from Waveshare, equipped with a 7" screen with a resolution of 800×480, is designed for creating graphical user interfaces in applications based on the ESP32-S3 microcontroller. Thanks to the presence of PSRAM, large Flash memory, support for popular communication interfaces, and battery power supply, the board is suitable for HMI projects, information terminals, device controllers, and IoT systems requiring graphics support without touch functionality.
The ESP32-S3-LCD-7 development board integrates the ESP32-S3 microcontroller with a 7-inch color LCD display with a resolution of 800×480 px. The module, equipped with a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor clocked up to 240 MHz, supports wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 5 LE with a built-in antenna. Onboard are 512 KB SRAM, 384 KB ROM, 8 MB PSRAM, and 16 MB Flash memory. The device supports power supply from a 3.7 V lithium battery and offers a range of communication interfaces: CAN, RS485, I2C, USB, UART, and a microSD card slot. With support for graphics libraries (e.g., LVGL), the board is suitable for HMI interface projects and embedded systems requiring data visualization. This version does not include a touch panel.
