The ESP32-C5-WIFI6-KIT-N16R8-M development board is built around the ESP32-C5-WROOM-1 module and designed for modern IoT applications and multi-protocol gateways that require efficient and stable wireless connectivity. The single-core ESP32-C5 microcontroller with a 32-bit RISC-V architecture operates at up to 240 MHz, enabling handling of multiple networking tasks and communication protocols.

The chip supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) as well as Bluetooth Low Energy 5, Zigbee 3.0, and Thread, allowing integration of devices within complex IoT environments and smart home systems. The N16R8 version is equipped with 16 MB Flash and 8 MB PSRAM, providing sufficient resources for medium-load applications, multiple protocol stacks, and network communication.
The board features a USB Type-C connector for programming and PC communication, a rich set of I/O pins, and an integrated battery charging management circuit with a connector for an external 3.7 V lithium battery (MX1.25). Support for ESP-IDF and Arduino environments enables quick start-up and flexible choice of development tools.
