Description

Development board Elecrow ESP32-S3 PowerFeather V2 is designed for low-power IoT devices, portable systems and solar-powered projects. It is based on the ESP32-S3 with a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor operating at up to 240MHz, 8MB Flash memory, 2MB PSRAM and 512KB SRAM. Wireless connectivity includes 2.4GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 LE with Mesh support.

V2 supports LiFePO4/LFP, Li-ion and LiPo batteries connected through a JST PH connector. The MAX17260 fuel gauge enables monitoring of battery voltage, temperature and current, as well as estimating state of charge, battery health, cycle count, time-to-empty and time-to-full. Charging, maximum charging current and selected power rails can be controlled through software. Current consumption drops to approximately 19–24µA in Deep Sleep mode and around 1µA in Ship or Shutdown mode.

The board can be powered from 5V USB-C or an external DC source up to 18V, including a directly connected solar panel. Adjustable MPP voltage enables more efficient use of solar power. Its Feather-compatible form factor supports FeatherWing modules, while the STEMMA QT connector provides an I2C interface. The board offers 23 I/O lines, USB OTG, user and reset buttons and an onboard PCB antenna. Dimensions are 65 × 23 × 7mm.
