Module with a liquid turbidity sensor that allows you to measure the amount of suspended particles in water. The process consists in checking the permeability of the tested liquid and the light scattering rate, which depend on the total amount of solid particles (TSS) in the liquid. An increase in TTS determines the increase in the level of turbidity. The sensor can operate in two modes: digital and analog. In digital mode, the particle level threshold is set with a potentiometer. The board is equipped with a Grove connector, so it can be used with the Base Shield V2 and Arduino extension. The module communicates via a digital or analog interface and is supplied with a voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V. It can be used to measure the quality of water in rivers, streams, aquariums, as instrumentation for monitoring pools, during sediment transport studies and even laboratory measurements.
