Module with an electromagnet powered by 5 V DC with a holding force of 1 kg. It consists of a coil of wire wrapped around an iron core. When the current passes through the coil, a magnetic field appears which causes the core to become magnetized. The magnetic poles of the electromagnet can be changed by reversing the negative and positive poles of the power supply. The board is equipped with a Grove connector, so it can be used with the Base Shield V2 and Arduino extension.
