The DFRobot DFR0208 module is a compact charger designed for single-cell 3.7 V Li-Ion and Li-Po batteries, featuring a USB-C connector, a JST battery connector, and screw terminals. It supports adjustable charging current and provides additional 3.3 V and 5 V power outputs, allowing the battery to be charged while simultaneously powering other electronic circuits in a project. DFRobot DFR0208
The DFRobot DFR0208 Lithium Battery Charger V1.0 is a compact and fast charging module designed for single-cell (1S) Li-Ion and Li-Po 3.7 V batteries. The module enables convenient battery charging via a USB-C connector as well as through a JST battery connector or screw terminals, making it a versatile solution for electronic, IoT, and embedded projects.
The charger offers adjustable charging current options (100 mA, 500 mA, 700 mA, or 1000 mA), selectable by shorting dedicated pads on the back of the PCB. This allows the charging parameters to be matched to the capacity and characteristics of the connected battery. The default charging current is 500 mA.
In version V1.0, the module has been enhanced with additional 3.3 V and 5 V power output terminals, allowing external circuits to be powered directly from the charger. Built-in status LEDs indicate charging progress and full charge status.
Thanks to its small form factor and mounting holes, the DFR0208 is well suited for integration into portable devices, DIY projects, prototypes, and educational applications.
