The charger is designed for lithium batteries. It can charge batteries both with and without PCM protection. The maximum charging current is 3 A, charging is performed to a voltage of 4.2 V or 4.35 V (configurable). The module is equipped with a USB type C connector, but the user can also connect the 5 V input voltage using the pads. The charger has an implemented three-stage CC/CV charging process to keep the cell in good condition by charging with the appropriate current at each stage and ending the charging process at the right moment.
