The Adafruit Micro-Lipo charger is designed to charge lithium-polymer or lithium-ion (LiPoly / LiIon) batteries via a USB Type-C connector. It performs charging in 3 stages: pre-charging, fast charging with constant current and maintenance charging with constant voltage.
The Adafruit Micro-Lipo charger is small and easy to use, you can hold it on your desk or easily mount it on any project. It can be connected via any USB C cable to the USB port and 3.7 V / 4.2 V lithium polymer battery or lithium ion battery to the JST plug at the other end. There are two LEDs - one red and one green. The red LED lights up while charging. When the battery is fully charged and ready for use, the green LED is on.
