3 dB attenuator with SMA jack and plug designed for operation in the DC – 6 GHz band. It is used in RF paths, e.g. with spectrum analyzers (such as tinySA) and vector network analyzers (such as nanoVNA). The attenuator allows reducing signal power, improving impedance matching and protecting measurement devices from overload.
