Module equipped with 12 SSR solid-state relays and 8 opto-isolated digital inputs controlled via the RS485 bus using the Modbus RTU protocol. The device enables switching of AC loads from 100-240 V AC with currents up to 2 A per channel, offering a galvanically isolated RS485 interface, surge protection and DIN 35 mm rail mounting. Configurable communication parameters and flexible power supply options facilitate integration with industrial and building automation systems. MODIG MD20003
The module is designed for remote control of electrical devices and monitoring of digital signals using the Modbus RTU protocol transmitted via the RS485 bus. The design features 12 independent SSR solid-state relays intended for switching AC loads and 8 opto-isolated digital inputs, enabling control, automation, telemetry and monitoring functions in industrial installations, building automation systems and supervisory applications. Control of all outputs, input monitoring and device configuration are performed using standard Modbus commands.

The RS485 interface is equipped with full galvanic isolation and surge protection, increasing resistance to interference commonly present in industrial environments. The device supports configurable transmission speeds from 1200 bps to 1 Mbps, parity settings and stop bit configuration, ensuring compatibility with various PLC controllers, HMI panels and SCADA systems.
The module is designed for DIN 35 mm rail mounting. It can be powered from a 5 V DC supply through a USB-C connector or a 2.1/5.5 mm DC jack, as well as from a 7-28 V DC industrial power supply through a Phoenix Contact MC 3.81 mm connector. Built-in supply voltage and internal temperature monitoring provide continuous diagnostics and operating condition supervision.
