Crowtail-PIR Motion Sensor 2.0 is a digital motion sensor for use in alarm systems, building automation and interactive projects. It provides a wide detection angle and adjustable range in a compact form with easy connection through the Crowtail interface.
Crowtail-PIR Motion Sensor 2.0 is a digital motion sensor based on PIR (Passive Infrared) technology, detecting the presence of objects emitting thermal radiation. When motion is detected within the field of view, the SIG output switches to a HIGH state. The detection angle is 120°, and the maximum range is 6 meters (factory default 3 m). Using the built-in potentiometer, the sensor’s sensitivity can be adjusted. Thanks to compatibility with the Crowtail interface and a supply voltage of 3–5 V, the module is ideal for integration with microcontrollers, alarm systems and automation setups.
