M5Stack U098-B1 is an ultrasonic distance sensor designed as a Unit series expansion module for the M5Stack platform. The sensor uses the RCWL-9620 chip together with a 16 mm diameter probe, which allows precise measurement of the distance to objects in the range from 2 cm to 450 cm with an accuracy of approximately ±2%. The device communicates via the standard I2C interface, which makes it easy to connect to M5Stack controllers and main boards, as well as to share the I2C bus with other sensors without occupying additional input/output lines. The sensor is ideal for applications such as obstacle avoidance in robotics, liquid level measurement, or object detection in an IoT project.
