Description

The voltage converter module is a step-down (buck) converter designed to reduce an input voltage from 5.1 V to 36 V down to a stable 5 V output. Utilizing switch-mode power supply (SMPS) technology, the device offers significantly higher efficiency than traditional linear regulators, especially when there is a large difference between input and output voltage. The maximum output current is 600 mA, allowing it to power a wide range of popular electronic circuits, microcontrollers, and communication modules. The converter operates at a switching frequency of 1.1 MHz under standard loads, and automatically lowers the frequency at light loads to improve energy efficiency. The regulator features a very low quiescent current – below 0.01 mA for most of the operating range – making it ideal for battery-powered applications.
