Description

X-NUCLEO-53L4A1 is a ToF VL53L4CD distance sensor expansion board designed for STM32 Nucleo kits. It intergrates the SPAD (Single Photon Avalanche Diodes) array and FlightSense™ technology, which allows to measure absolute distance regardless of the color and surface of the detected object. Using a 940-nm IR emitter and a set of filters, it offers a range of up to 1.3 meters with good immunity to interference from ambient light. The sensor has a detection angle of 18° and uses VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser), which means it has no dead zone and can detect objects very close to the sensor. It has the ability to detect several objects simultaneously. The overlay is compatible with STM32 Nucleo boards and has an Arduino UNO R3 connector.
