Wio-E5-LE Dev Kit Seeed Studio 113991157 is a development kit with the STM32WLE5JC module and LoRaWAN support in global frequency bands. Thanks to numerous interfaces and battery power supply, it enables fast creation of energy-efficient IoT devices for applications in environmental monitoring, industry, and smart city systems.
The Wio-E5-LE Dev Kit development set includes a development board integrated with the Wio-E5-LE module based on the STM32WLE5JC microcontroller with an ARM Cortex-M4 core and SX126x transceiver. It supports LoRa and (G)FSK protocols in the EU868, US915, AU915, AS923, KR920, and IN865 bands, enabling data transmission over distances of up to 10 km. The board provides access to all 28 GPIO pins of the module and a rich set of communication interfaces such as RS485, three Grove connectors (I2C/UART), JST2.0, SMA-K, IPEX, and a USB Type-C connector.
The built-in firmware with AT commands and the possibility of integration through the STM32CubeProgrammer SDK allow flexible prototyping of IoT applications. The system can be powered from a USB port or an external 2× AA battery holder. Low power consumption (2.1 µA in WOR mode) makes it suitable for battery-powered projects. The board is intended for fast creation, testing, and deployment of long-range communication applications, including environmental monitoring systems, smart city solutions, and industrial automation.
