Description
RP2350 Pico W5 is a modern development board based on the Raspberry Pi RP2350 microcontroller, designed for IoT projects, education, prototyping, and low-power embedded systems. The device offers exceptional flexibility and performance thanks to the use of either an Arm Cortex-M33 core or a RISC-V Hazard3 core, enabling a wide range of applications. The board supports dual-band Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz as well as Bluetooth Low Energy and Bluetooth 5.0, making it ideal for creating modern wireless solutions.
Compared to the Raspberry Pi Pico W model, the new Pico W5 offers larger Flash memory capacity (8 MB) and a USB Type-C connector instead of micro-USB, providing greater convenience and compatibility with modern accessories. It maintains full dimensional and pinout compatibility with the original Pico, ensuring support for most existing modules and add-ons. The design allows for easy soldering and integration with custom baseboards.
RP2350 Pico W5 supports both C/C++ and MicroPython, and with its complete SDK and open tutorials, it is an excellent choice for both professionals and beginners. It is perfect for projects such as smart IoT devices, wireless control systems, home automation, and microcontroller programming education. This versatile platform combines cutting-edge technology with ease of use in a compact form factor.
