Description

The Waveshare 32639 stereo camera module is designed for applications requiring simultaneous and precisely synchronized image capture from two cameras. The use of dual OS02G10 sensors with 2 MP resolution enables stereo image acquisition within the same time frame (same-frame output), which is essential for depth analysis, machine vision, and 3D vision systems.

The camera features a 62 mm stereo baseline, providing a balanced compromise between depth measurement accuracy and compact module dimensions. Low-distortion lenses (<0.4%) with a 2.88 mm focal length and F2.2 aperture ensure accurate image geometry without noticeable optical distortion.

The module communicates via USB 2.0 Type-C and operates in Plug & Play mode without requiring driver installation. Support for MJPG and YUY2 image formats allows flexible adjustment of video parameters to suit specific application requirements.
