The PCIe TO MiniPCIe GbE USB3.2 HAT+ is an advanced expansion module for the Raspberry Pi 5, enabling the addition of a MiniPCIe slot, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. Mounted via a 16-pin PCIe interface, the module supports Linux systems (Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu) and OpenWRT without the need for additional drivers. It allows installation of compatible MiniPCIe 4G modules such as SIM7600G-H-PCIE or EG25-G (modules not included), adding LTE and GNSS functionality to the Raspberry Pi 5.
Equipped with the RTL8153B chip, the device provides stable 1 Gbps network connectivity, while the VL805 PCIe-to-USB converter offers two high-speed USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. The built-in INA219 chip enables power monitoring, and the EEPROM stores HAT identification data.
