Description
The NVMe Base expands the storage capacity of your Raspberry Pi 5, allowing for lightning-fast system boot times, NAS applications, and smooth operation of your applications. This PCIe expansion board is specifically designed for Raspberry Pi 5, enabling the installation of an NVMe SSD in sizes ranging from 2230 to 2280. By mounting the NVMe Base underneath your Raspberry Pi, you get a compact and fast storage solution, perfect for high-performance storage needs.
It's an ideal solution for turning your Raspberry Pi 5 into a file server, media center, proxy server, and many other applications where large amounts of fast storage are required, especially for random high IOPS workloads. The NVMe Base is compliant with the new "PIP" design guidelines developed by Raspberry Pi, ensuring ease of use and long-term support through Raspberry Pi OS updates.
Attention!
- The Raspberry Pi 5 board is not included in the kit.
- Always power off your RPi and disconnect the power supply before installing or uninstalling the NVMe Base.
