Description
The HAT+ expansion board from Waveshare, designed for Raspberry Pi 5, enables integration of high-speed network and mobile connectivity. The PCIe TO MiniPCIe GbE USB3.2 HAT+ features a MiniPCIe slot compatible with the included SIM7600G-H-PCIE 4G module, offering global LTE, 3G, and 2G support. The board includes two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, a 1 Gbps Ethernet port (RTL8153B chip), a USB Type-C interface for power and data transfer, a nano SIM card slot, and IPEX-1 connectors for LTE and GNSS antennas.
The integrated SIM7600G-H module supports LTE Cat-4 with speeds up to 150 Mbps (DL) and 50 Mbps (UL), and positioning systems including GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, and QZSS. It is a plug-and-play solution compatible with Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, and OpenWRT.
