Description

Clipper HAT Mini is a compact expansion module for Raspberry Pi that enables 4G LTE cellular connectivity. It's the perfect solution when you want your project to work reliably anywhere in the world, regardless of WiFi availability. It's ideal for outdoor events, remote locations, or mobile installations such as beehives, boats, or bicycles. Sensor data transmission over a cellular network consumes very little data, so even a small data plan can last a long time.

The HAT features an LTE SIMCom A7683E module, a SIM card slot, an SMA connector for attaching an antenna, and LEDs indicating connection status. Two user buttons provide easy interaction, and the Qw/ST connector allows for quick sensor and extension integration using the Qwiic/STEMMA QT standard. No soldering is required—just plug it into a Raspberry Pi with a 40-pin GPIO header. This is a practical and compact solution for IoT projects that require reliable internet connectivity in harsh environments or far from local networks.
