The ESP32-S3-EYE is a small AI development board based on the ESP32-S3 SoC with an integrated 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and BLE transceiver. It has a built-in 2 MP camera, LCD display and microphone for image recognition and sound processing. The ESP32-S3-EYE is equipped with 8 MB PSRAM and 8 MB Flash memory. The module supports image transmission via Wi-Fi and debugging via the Micro-USB port.

The board has a 3D PIFA antenna and an IPEX connector, thanks to which the user can select the antenna using resistors. The USB-UART converter based on the CP2102 chip enables communication with the board. In addition, the user has a button and LED indicators at his disposal.
Espressif offers a complete AIoT solution that combines the ESP32 with an artificial intelligence (AI) platform. This solution includes the ESP-EYE board along with Espressif's IoT and AI development platforms, ESP-IDF and ESP-WHO. In addition to Espressif's ESP-IDF SDK, the user can also use FreeRTOS with ESP-EYE. It also provides connectivity to AWS-IoT and other AWS services.
