Description

The HDMI_RX_HSMC module enables HDMI signal reception in FPGA systems via the HSMC (High Speed Mezzanine Connector) interface. The board includes two HDMI receiver ports, each equipped with a separate 2K EEPROM for storing EDID data. Communication with the mainboard is handled through the HSMC interface, powered by 3.3 V and 12 V lines. Compliant with HDMI 1.3a, HDCP 1.2, and DVI 1.0 standards, the module allows image reception in multiple video formats.

The included reference design in Verilog and C enables quick implementation of HDMI reception functions and the creation of custom FPGA applications, including loopback configurations with the HDMI_TX_HSMC module.
