Description
The charger module with a built-in boost converter offers a comprehensive power solution for electronic projects requiring 5V. It supports charging batteries from various sources, such as USB, DC, or solar panels, making it highly versatile. Utilizing the advanced BQ25185 charging IC and TPS61023 boost converter, the module delivers high efficiency and optimal energy utilization from the battery. Designed to power microcontrollers and other devices requiring stabilized 5V output, it features a JST PH 2-pin connector for batteries with a capacity of 500mAh or larger. The stabilized 5V output is accessible via the screw terminal. With solar panel support, the module optimizes current draw to prevent voltage drops, enabling efficient use of solar energy. The PCB includes three LEDs indicating operating states: charging, error, and 3.3V activity. This plug-and-play solution is ideal for battery-powered projects such as microcontrollers, IoT systems, or portable devices. Adjustable charging current and features like 5V boost converter deactivation add to the module's flexibility.
