A small board with an OV5640 camera and an STM32H743II ARM microcontroller with a Cortex M7 core. The module allows for easy implementation of image analysis in devices / robots. Equipped with 32 MB external 32-bit SDRAM and 32 MB external QSPI flash memory. SparkFun SEN-16989
OpenMV H7 Plus is a small board with the OV5640 camera and the STM32H743II ARM microcontroller with the Cortex M7 core. The module allows for easy implementation of image analysis in devices/robots. With the help of the module, it is possible to create a program that will detect faces, recognize colors, or read QR codes. The Plus version is additionally equipped with 32 MB external 32-bit SDRAM memory and 32 MB external QSPI flash memory.
OpenMV H7 Plus uses high-level Python scripts (which run on the MicroPython operating system). Thanks to these scripts it is possible to create complex image processing algorithms. Additionally, the board has the microcontroller's digital input / output pins, which can be programmed using Python scripts.
The OpenMV Cam H7 Plus is equipped with an OV5640 image sensor that can take photos at a resolution of 2592x1944 (5MP). Most simple algorithms will run at 25-50 FPS on QVGA (320x240) resolutions. In addition, OpenMV H7 has interchangeable camera modules that allow you to use the module with Global Shutter and FLIR Lepton sensors.
The manufacturer provides numerous examples of camera use implemented with the OpenMV IDE environment.
