Description
The TerasIC SFP-HSMC is an HSMC expansion card designed for testing FPGA interoperability with SFP optical modules. Designed to work with Stratix IV GX, Stratix III, Arria GX, and Arria II GX devices, it enables deployment and prototyping of applications using fiber-optic transmission in standards such as SGMII Ethernet, Fibre Channel, CPRI/OBSAI, and SONET. The card is equipped with eight SFP connectors (four transceiver-based and four LVDS) and a set of SMA connectors for handling clock inputs/outputs, providing wide flexibility in implementing communication systems.
