The WEP 995D soldering station is a hot air soldering station and tip soldering iron. It is equipped with a microprocessor with a PID controller that checks the operating parameters of the station and corrects them to the set values.
Hot air operation can take place in automatic / manual mode. Choosing the automatic mode, after putting the hot air flask on the stand, the device automatically stops heating and will cool down to a safe temperature. This allows for long, trouble-free operation of the heating element, saving electricity and service security. We choose the manual mode, when we often have to solder something, then we save time and increase work efficiency. It is recommended to switch to automatic mode before finishing work.
The station is equipped with a temperature correction function. It depends on the operating environment, heating element efficiency, blowing power, tip wear, it all affects the correct temperature correction to get the set parameter.
The soldering iron is equipped with a sleep mode, when the tip is not used, after a pre-set time from 0-99 min it goes into sleep mode, i.e. the tip is heated to 200 ° C, which prevents excessive oxidation of the tip, which affects its service life and heating element. We can turn off the mode by setting 0.
