12-bit ADS1015 analog-to-digital converter module with four single-ended inputs or two differential inputs. It communicates via I2C, supports conversion rates up to 3.3kSPS, and features a programmable gain amplifier (PGA). Designed for analog signal acquisition in microcontroller-based systems. Soldered 333094
The device ADC 12-bit ADS1015 4-channel with PGA breakout by Soldered provides analog-to-digital conversion with a resolution of 12 bits. The onboard ADS1015 offers four inputs operating in single-ended configuration or two differential channels. The module can be used to extend the analog measurement capabilities of development boards and microcontrollers, including data acquisition systems and circuits using analog sensors.
Communication with a microcontroller is handled via the I2C bus. The module supports four hardware-selectable addresses, allowing multiple converters to operate on the same bus. The default address is 0x48. Two Qwiic connectors, compatible with easyC and STEMMA QT, allow solderless connection to compatible boards and modules.
The built-in programmable gain amplifier (PGA) allows the converter's measurement range to be adjusted to the amplitude of the input signal. The ADS1015 supports programmable conversion rates from 128SPS to 3.3kSPS. The ALERT pin can operate as an interrupt output for the programmable comparator, allowing the microcontroller to respond when a configured threshold is exceeded without continuously polling the converter.
The board operates from a 3.3V supply and measures 22 × 22mm. The manufacturer specifies a current consumption of approximately 150µA in continuous-conversion mode at the maximum 3.3kSPS data rate. Two 3.2mm mounting holes are designed for M3 screws.
