PoE M.2 E KEY HAT+ is an add-on board for the Raspberry Pi 5 that enables the connection of M.2 E Key cards with Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality. Thanks to support for 5 V and 12 V power outputs, dual antenna connectors, and compatibility with popular wireless card standards, the module is well-suited for network projects, IoT applications, and systems requiring stable power supply and high-performance wireless communication.
The PoE M.2 E KEY HAT+ is an expansion HAT for the Raspberry Pi 5 that allows connecting NGFF (M.2 E Key) network modules with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support. The adapter communicates with the main board via a 16-pin PCIe interface cable and provides power via PoE compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at. The board is equipped with an M.2 E Key slot supporting various A/E Key wireless cards. Two female SMA connectors enable the installation of external antennas, while the USB port allows Bluetooth signal transmission from the wireless module. Additional 5 V (4.5 A) and 12 V (2 A) power outputs can supply external devices. The board includes a standard 40PIN GPIO header for stacking with other HATs.

The KAmod RPI 485&CAN Hat module extends the functionality of Raspberry Pi 5 boards (and others with a 3.3 V SPI interface) with two galvanically isolated RS485 interfaces and one CAN 2.0B interface. The RS485 interfaces are based on the SC16IS752 controller, and the CAN interface on the MCP2515 system. The isolated transceivers used (ADM2483 and TJA1052) increase resistance to interference. Communication takes place via two SPI interfaces, and additional power supply options (from RPi or external 8-32 V) and a stabilized 5 V output allow for flexibility in power supply. The module can be mounted on RPi 5, also with an Active Cooler radiator, and can work with other microcontrollers. The maximum transmission speeds are 500 kbps for RS485 and 1 Mbps for CAN
