The Crowtail – Current Sensor 2.0 module enables precise measurement of direct and alternating current up to ±20 A using the ACS712 measurement chip. The module’s output is an analog voltage proportional to the measured current, which allows direct reading via an ADC in a microcontroller. The sensor is suitable for applications involving energy-consumption monitoring, load measurement, and measurement systems for consumer electronics and automation. Offset and sensitivity adjustment allows calibration of the system under laboratory conditions.
