The PCR radar module is equipped with an integrated antenna and a 26-pin connector compatible with Raspberry Pi. The sensor allows for distance detection, but it also supports applications in the field of gestures, movement, material and speed detection up to 2 m. The module has a built-in 1.8 V stabilizer, a voltage level converter and communicates via the SPI interface with a clock frequency of up to 50 MHz. Acconeer has developed a data visualization tool written in Python that demonstrates real-time data collection. It is available for Windows and Linux and requires Python 3.6 or later.
