This programming board is designed for quick and easy soldering-free programming of ESP modules, thanks to its spring-loaded pins. It supports a wide range of modules, including the ESP32, ESP32-S2, ESP32-S3, and ESP32-C6, and once assembled, it can function as a mini development kit. A built-in USB-UART converter and USB-C interface ensure fast and stable programming and communication with a computer. Espressif Systems ESP-Module-Prog-1
ESP-Module-Prog-1 is a professional programming board from Espressif, designed for convenient and fast programming of ESP modules without the need for soldering. The device allows direct connection of modules via spring-loaded pins, which automatically align with the module pads. This significantly simplifies testing and programming in both prototyping and production environments. The board can operate as a standalone tool or in combination with dedicated baseboards.
One of the key advantages of this device is its versatility, as it supports a wide range of modules, including ESP32-WROOM, ESP32-S2, ESP32-S3, and ESP32-C6. Once a module is mounted, the board can function as a mini development kit, similar to standard DevKits. The built-in USB–UART converter enables fast data transfer and programming speeds of up to 3 Mbps, ensuring quick and stable firmware flashing.

The board features standard 2.54 mm female headers, providing full access to all module signals. Additionally, startup pin configuration is available via the J4 connector, allowing adjustment of the module’s boot mode. An integrated 5 V to 3.3 V LDO regulator ensures proper power supply for ESP modules. The device also includes BOOT and RESET buttons for easy entry into programming mode and system reset. A Power On LED indicates the presence of power, aiding diagnostics. Furthermore, the J5 connector enables current consumption measurement, which is especially useful for optimizing power usage in IoT projects.
ESP-Module-Prog-1 is an ideal tool for engineers, manufacturers, and hobbyists who need a reliable and convenient solution for programming and testing ESP modules. It performs equally well in laboratory and production environments.
