The reComputer J401 board is an advanced expansion platform for NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano and Orin NX modules, enabling full utilization of their computing power of up to 100 TOPS. It provides a wide range of communication interfaces, including 4× USB 3.2 Type-A, USB 2.0 Type-C, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet, CAN, and two MIPI CSI-2 connectors for cameras. It supports storage expansion via an M.2 Key M slot for NVMe SSDs and wireless connectivity via an M.2 Key E slot for WiFi/Bluetooth modules. The board also includes a fan connector (5 V PWM), an RTC connector, a 40-pin GPIO header, and a 12-pin control connector with UART. Compact dimensions of 100 × 80 mm and support for desktop or wall mounting make integration in various application environments easier. The open hardware design allows full control over system modifications, making the J401 board well-suited for AI video analytics, vision systems, mobile robotics, and generative artificial intelligence projects.
