The C4001 presence sensor module uses 24 GHz millimeter-wave technology to accurately detect human presence, as well as measure distance and movement speed. Based on FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) technology, it can simultaneously measure distance and speed within a range of 0.1 to 10 m/s. The presence detection range extends up to 16 meters, while movement and distance measurement can reach up to 25 meters.
Compared to traditional infrared or ultrasonic sensors, the C4001 stands out with its ability to detect both stationary and moving objects. It offers high reliability thanks to strong resistance to environmental interference such as dust, light, temperature changes, and noise.
