BMP390 is a compact, energy-efficient barometric pressure sensor with high accuracy, designed for precise altitude measurement and mobile applications. Thanks to its I2C/SPI interfaces and SMD mounting, it is widely used in embedded projects and wearable devices.
The BMP390 is a high-precision digital barometric pressure sensor designed for altitude-measurement applications such as navigation systems, activity monitoring, wearable devices and drones. The measurement range is from 30 kPa to 125 kPa, with an accuracy of 50 Pa, enabling precise tracking of altitude differences even within a few meters. The device operates with very low current consumption—only 3.2 μA—making it suitable for battery-powered applications.
It supports two digital interfaces: I2C and SPI, ensuring easy integration with most popular microcontrollers and development platforms. The sensor is housed in a compact LGA-10 package with SMD/SMT mounting style and has no protruding pressure port (No Port), which simplifies PCB layout. It operates over a wide supply voltage range from 1.65 V to 3.6 V and temperatures from –40 °C to +85 °C, making it suitable for demanding environmental conditions.
