A set dedicated to testing and prototyping solutions based on the VD6283 color sensor. It consists of the X-NUCLEO-6283A1 expansion board and the NUCLEO-F401RE development board.
The X-NUCLEO-6283A1 is an expansion board with a 6 channel Ambient Light Sensor (ALS). Provides fast light measurement thanks to individual ADC and reading circuits for each color channel (red, green, blue, IR, transparent and visible). The VD6283 uses hybrid color filters with precise responses, allowing the accurate calculation of Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) and lux information. The VD6283 can be used to manage display brightness or correct scene lighting. Additionally, the VD6283 can extract light flicker frequencies from 100Hz to 2kHz, including square LED signals.
NUCLEO-F401RE allows you to implement projects based on an efficient microcontroller with a 32-bit ARM Cortex core. The modules are compatible with the Arduino shields and the mbed.org on-line compiler system. Nucleo works with most popular development platforms, including Keil, IAR and environments based on the GCC compiler.
