Description

Demonstration and programming platform for the Time-of-Flight VL53L3CX distance sensor. The set is designed to measure distances and detect gestures. Distance measurement was carried out using VL53L3CX laser sensors using FlightSense technology. The base plate has one sensor, and the set comes with two additional sensors (satellites) for detecting gestures with direction determination. The sensor of the main module is encapsulated with a special frame enabling the installation of a protective glass and distances that simulate the operation of the sensor in a built-in application. The manufacturer has added one protective glass and 3 spacers (1 mm, 0.5 mm and 0.25 mm) to the set.

The expansion board is compatible with the STM32 Nucleo family of boards and the Arduino Uno Rev3 connector system. The manufacturer provides an API STSW-IMG015 library for sensor support.
