Wio Terminal is an ATSAMD51 based development kit with wireless connectivity supported by Realtek RTL8720DN. The processor runs at 120 MHz (up to 200 MHz) and has 4 MB of Flash memory. The Realtek RTL8720DN chip supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, providing communication for IoT projects. Wio Terminal is equipped with a 2.4-inch LCD screen, built-in IMU (LIS3DHTR), microphone, buzzer, microSD card slot, light sensor and infrared transmitter (IR 940nm). In addition, it also has two multifunctional Grove ports and a 40-pin GPIO connector compatible with the Raspberry Pi.Wio Terminal can work with Grove modules to create IoT systems, and can be connected to the Raspberry Pi, creating a computer system. It will be used in a wide range of projects, including as GPS navigation, weather monitoring station, wireless controller or machine learning module. The kit can be programmed with most popular tools: Arduino IDE, MicroPython, ArduPy, Visual Studio Code or CircuitPython.
